Our Story

Kappa Studios, a renowned post-production facility in Burbank, CA, has been a staple in the media district for over 30 years. Located near Disney, Warner Bros., and Universal, the company has built a reputation for providing top-notch studio-quality services. In recent years, however, Kappa Studios' president, Paul Long, felt compelled to make a change. After much prayer and contemplation, Paul made the unprecedented decision to pivot the company's focus towards faith & family-friendly projects, walking away from lucrative opportunities that did not align with his Christian values.

What We Do

At Kappa Studios, our mission is to provide the highest level of post-production services at "faith & family-friendly pricing." We offer an extensive range of services tailored to your film, TV, or digital project needs. Our capabilities include:

• Picture Services: SDR/HDR Dolby Vision Color Grading, Assembly/Conform, Offline editing (Avid, Premiere), Media Management/Transcoding/Digitizing, Standards/Formats Conversion, VR/360, and Trailers/Promos
• Sound Services: Dolby ATMOS 11.6.1 Mixing, 5.1 Dolby Surround Mixing, Mastering, SFX Design, Dialogue Editorial Cleanup, Foley, VO/ADR Recording, Foreign Language Dubbing, and Sound Restoration
• Space & Equipment Rentals: Casting Spaces, Edit Bay Rental, Production Office Space, Screening Room, Green Screen/Insert Stage, and DCP Screening Theater Pan and Scan Archiving
• Deliverables: DOLBY CINEMA Digital Delivery HD, 2K, 4K 6K, DCP/IMP Deliverables, DCP Screening Theater, LTO Archiving, and Closed Captioning

In addition to post-production, we also assist our clients with distribution and marketing and have launched the non-profit 501c3 Christian Film Finishing Fund, dedicated to uplifting the culture and promoting a Christian worldview through media.
